Are you packed yet?

Wish I had kept track of the number of times we have been asked, “Are you packed yet?” over the last several months.

Nope.

We’re not packed yet . . . but have begun to think about it.

Angela Wells arrived in Sarasota and our home on Tuesday, so we have been enjoying getting to know her as she begins her ministry at St. Andrew and her life on Cass St.

Ohhhh, and we have been watching some of the Olympics.

And we have been savoring . . . life.

We got an “Artists to Watch” greeting card from Lucy with the painting “Dogwood” by Nick Wroblewski:

Dogwood - Wroblewski

along with this quote by Leonardo da Vinci:

When you put your hand in the flowing stream,

you touch the last that has gone before and the first of what is still to come.”

Savoring . . . life.

Now we are headed to Siesta for “an easy run.”

  2. Much better. Still an occasional twinge, though, so she is very careful with uneven terrain.
