It’s a ways from Dublin to Paris to Minneapolis to Duluth . . . but we are here safe and sound.
Not too long after we were in Duluth, we got a text from my son son, Noah, with words sort of like this:
“You must be here ’cause there is a rainbow over Duluth.”
I ran to the top of the sand dune behind the house we have rented for our time here . . . and this is what I saw:

BEAUTIFUL!
By the “shining big sea water” – welcome home!
Phil and Patricia,
What an amazing adventure you’re had—–almost sounds like you’ve had too much fun! The pictures have been just so beautiful and who knew DOORS could be so interesting as well as raindrops on otherwise dreary days.
Welcome back to reality and enjoy the rest of your vacation.
Nan
Ohhh . . . God’s promise! How beautiful! So glad you’re safely back on this side of the pond.
Welcome back and enjoy your family on the greatest of lakes!
Though we do not have “Gitchie Gumee” shores to welcome you home, We do have the lapping shores of “Siesta Key” saying “we are waiting patiently for your footprints to once again tread along our lovely white sandy beach!” Plus all the love from your St.Andrew family holding their breath waiting (not so patiently) for the big bird in the sky to land you safely once again back into the fold! After I received the call last night, “we have landed” I also was on my way home in a down pour, driving in my yard, behind my trees, I am sure I saw the same rainbow, Ya Think? Ok, heart felt like a “rainbow” welcome home special ones, Onward to your next adventure, Have special moments with your family, Thank You for including us in all of your adventures, I even felt your rain sometimes! hugs, susann
Welcome back, Patricia & Phil. Yesterday I walked the labyrinth at the catholic retreat house near FtMyers. I had our pooch MacGregor with me, but he wasn’t enthusiastic about the twists and turns.
Well, wherever you go…whatever you do…there’s a rainbow somewhere…a rainbow for two.
Fantastic! Glad to hear of your safe journey.
Glad to know you arrived back home safely. What a beautiful rainbow.
Glad that you are back safe and sound and I’m sure the rainbow was just for you two! Maybe it is also for my new great grandson, Fenton Donaldson, born at 4:17 this afternoon.
Love and hugs,
Fay
